How we use AI, and where we stop.

We ask candidates to be specific about their working method, so it would be poor form to be vague about ours. This is the whole of it, in plain words.

What we use it for
  • Market mapping — who exists in a market, where, at what level.
  • Role and technology research, so we arrive at a brief already literate in it.
  • Discovery: surfacing people we would never have found through a keyword search.
  • Structuring and drafting our own notes and market maps.
  • Preparing sharper questions for a domain that is new to us.
What we never use it for
  • Scoring or ranking candidates.
  • Screening anyone out. There are no automated rejections at AGALTA.
  • Writing an assessment a person has not read, corrected and signed.
  • Sending messages that pretend to be from a human who never saw them.
  • Making the decision about whether to introduce someone. That is ours.
Your data, if you are a candidate
  • We hold what you send us and what we write about our conversation. Nothing scraped, nothing bought.
  • You see your Method Profile before any client does, and you can correct it.
  • Your name goes nowhere without your explicit permission, each time.
  • You can ask what we hold, ask us to change it, or ask us to delete it. We do it, and we confirm.
  • GDPR applies and we do not treat it as paperwork. [legal review before launch]
Why it is written down

Recruitment is the industry most likely to quietly automate judgement and hope nobody notices. Publishing the boundary is the only way the claim means anything — and it is a boundary you can hold us to.
